The Board of Directors for the South Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is lead by an Executive Committee. This group of dedicated volunteers demonstrates their passion for the fight to beat breast cancer with their leadership and service.
President, Dave Ragsdale
Dave’s involvement with the Affiliate dates back to the first Race back in 1991. As a local runner, Dave and his wife, Molly, ran in the Race every year. His volunteering with the Affiliate began in 2002 as a Race course consultant. From there, Dave headed up the Site Operations team for several years before serving as the first-ever Male Co-Chair in 2005 and Race Chair in 2006. That year, the Race broke through the $1 Million mark for the first time. Since then, Dave’s voice can be heard on Race Day down at the start line organizing the event and encouraging all the participants.
Dave travels all over the U.S. announcing triathlons and running races and is the Associate Publisher of Competitor Magazine. He is a 1978 graduate of Colgate University.

Vice President, Kathleen Bocek
Kathleen Bocek has been volunteering with the Affiliate since 2009. She is currently employed as the Vice President of Human Resources for Campus Management in Boca Raton, FL where she is responsible for overseeing employee recruiting, services and benefits as well as the company's learning center and facilities management. She is also responsible for creating and implementing programs to recruit, motivate and train employees to achieve personal and professional goals.
Kathleen holds a BA in Biology from Loyola Marymount University and an MA in Human Resources management from Marymount University in Arlington, VA.
Kathleen lives in Delray Beach, is married with two children, 4 grandchildren and a chocolate Labrador Retriever named Princess Leah.

Treasurer, Teresa A. Licamara
Teresa Licamara has been volunteering for the Affiliate since 2008. She has served as the Treasurer since 2010 and previously served as Treasurer Elect for two years.
Teresa is currently employed as a Senior Manager in the advisory division of Marcum in West Palm Beach, FL. She has provided forensic accounting services to Bankruptcy Trustee’s and court appointed Receivers for over 10 years. Teresa is a Certified Public Accountant, Accredited in Business Valuations, Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor and Certified in Financial Forensics. She holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA, both from Nova Southeastern University.

Vice Treasurer, George Bachman
George’s awareness and support of the South Florida Affiliate of the Susan G Komen for the Cure® began many years ago as a runner participating in Race for the Cure events. In the fall of 2011 he volunteered and was elected to the Affiliate’s Board of Directors.
An experienced Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer, formally with a publicly held company listed on the New York Stock Exchange, he is now an independent advisor to businesses. Currently he is serving in areas ranging from part time CFO, developing strategy and planning, and analyzing acquisition feasibility, to providing specific services and recommendations in areas such as cash management, financing, information systems, discounted cash flow, work flow, spreadsheets, and human resources.
George is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and was named to the Association of Financial Professionals 2007 honors program. He previously served on the Board of Directors for the Executives’ Association of the Palm Beaches, serving in positions of Treasurer, Vice President, and President.
George is married, has two grown children, and has recently become a proud Grandfather.

Secretary, P. Kristen Pressly
Kristy grew up in St. Petersburg, Florida and received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Florida, both with honors.
Kristy is currently employed as The Breakers’ first Director – Legal Services. In her role as general counsel to The Breakers, Kristy oversees management of The Breakers’ litigation and represented claims, administrative complaints, Human Resources consulting and training, general compliance issues, contract review and negotiation and general problem-solving and dispute avoidance.
Kristy is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association and Association of Corporate Counsel. She has also served on the boards of the Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County (2005-2010), Palm Beach Cancer Institute Foundation (2010) and currently serves on the boards of Susan G. Komen South Florida (2010 - present), and the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce (2010 - present). Kristy is also an active member and supporter of the Palm Beach County Historical Society and Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County.
Kristy is married to Grier Pressly and has one beautiful daughter, Parker.
