Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon

On Wednesday, May 28th, Komen South Florida held its second Annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon. It was a beautiful  day as we presented awards to many of our core volunteers.

Congratulations to Mary Lou LaCoursiere for her well-deserved win as 2008 Office Volunteer of the Year.  Mary Lou is our 'Girl Friday' and maintains regular office hours on Fridays.  We always know she'll be coming in with a smile.  Mary Lou manages our Tree of Life - Tribute/Memorial processes and produces our thank you letters and acknowledgment cards for this important revenue stream.

We couldn't make the same impact in our community without tireless volunteers like Mary Lou.
