Donations Make a Difference
The Komen South Florida Affiliate was established in 1991. In fiscal year 2010-2011 the Affiliate raised a record $3 million. In the last 10 years, the Affiliate has investd over $16.2 million in Community Outreach and Program Support, Local Education, Patient Support, Screening, and Treatment Grants and the national Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Grants Program to fund ground-breaking breast cancer research.

Local Support is Available
We proudly support local non-profit agencies and service providers in our service area of Palm Beach, Martin and St. Lucie Counties.
In the fiscal year 2010-2011 our Affiliate funded and our grantees provided 6,047 breast cancer screening services, and from these screenings 50 breast cancers were diagnosed. Without Komen South Florida Affiliate funding, these cancers might have been missed. They also provided patient navigation and support to 1,622 breast cancer patients.
