Thank you for considering the South Florida Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® as the beneficiary of your special event/promotion. Two documents are needed to start the process to legally use our name and logo for your event/promotion: the Third Party Special Event Application and the Guidelines.
A guaranteed minimum donation of $1,000 per event or $2,000 per ongoing promotion is required by the Affiliate. Up to 75% of all money raised will stay in our tri-county service area of Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie counties to fund education, screening and treatment programs. The remaining 25%will be sent to Komen National to fund cutting-edge research programs.
The advantage of this partnership is the ability to use our name and logo, both of which are very powerful marketing tools. We rely heavily on this type of fundraising – particularly during the current economic climate – and in return the following support would be available:

Listing of your event on our website Calendar of Events or Ongoing Promotions page

Ability to use our logo and name within your promotional materials

Mention of your event in our monthly e-blast to 16,000+ supporters in our service area of Palm Beach, Martin, and St. Lucie counties

Up to 4 volunteers, if needed, on the day of your event - they are not able to handle funds but they can assist in other areas of the event

A speaker who would explain to your participants what we do and how fundraising revenues are utilized. We always appreciate this opportunity, even if only for a few minutes.
